We're Phil and Kyrsten - our family is interested in re-activating our yards, neighborhoods, parks and businesses for pollinators and the wider natural ecosystem. Phil worked for a native plant landscaping company while our family lived in North Carolina, and we are having a fun time experimenting with plants here in the Midwest.

 

We think native plants are gorgeous, and the life they bring to the home garden is fascinating and precious. We want buying Ohio native plants to be as simple as buying foreign plants from the big box store. Planting these native species supports monarchs, birds, all varieties of bees and insects. We'd love to see our world light up with the glow of fireflies again.

Germination and establishment of natives may take more than a year for many species, so we want to bring a middle ground price between seed packets and buying large, expensive plants.
